Clean writing, with a dash of creativity

This project is a decent example of when to be clear and when to be creative when writing web copy. The guys at 1Up had been so focused on their clients, their own website was in need of a makeover. With a brief to clearly explain their services while also communicating the company personality, the hero image headlines are a combination of brand voice and information, while the body copy focuses on being crystal clear about what 1Up does and why you should work with them (which you should), while still maintaining a consistent voice.
